As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of engineers, scheduling planned preventative maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of 3 engineers and ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Schedule and coordinate planned preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize production
  • Mentor and develop team members to improve their technical skills and knowledge
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures
  • Conduct fault finding and repair of electrical and mechanical components
  • Replace parts as needed and ensure all work is properly documented

Requirements:

  • Recognized electrical or mechanical qualification (apprenticeship, NVQ level 3, BTEC, ONC, C&G, HNC, HND)
  • Experience of working in an FMCG, food, or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to fault find with a multi-meter and swap out components
  • Positive can-do attitude and excellent communication skills
