Business Services Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Business Services team, overseeing daily operations and ensuring top-tier service delivery to our clients.

This is a key role that involves managing the operational responsibilities of a Business Services team to deliver high-quality services to clients. Key tasks include producing, reviewing, and managing the delivery of client advice and outputs, prioritizing, delegating, and reviewing tax compliance assignments including annual financial statements, tax returns, activity statements, FBT, ESS, and other tax compliance requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business services, with experience in staff and team management, client relationship management, and tax advisory/research skills. Additionally, they will possess advanced MS Excel skills and experience with APS, XPM, and SharePoint.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the operational responsibilities of a Business Services team to deliver high-quality services to clients.
  • Produce, review, and manage the delivery of client advice and outputs.
  • Prioritize, delegate, and review tax compliance assignments including annual financial statements, tax returns, activity statements, FBT, ESS, and other tax compliance requirements.
  • Provide high-quality tax service and advice to clients and manage relationships with clients.
  • Liaise with third parties, including ATO, ASIC, and client advisors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, and CA or CPA qualification.
  • Big 4 or mid-tier experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of business services experience (or related).
  • Minimum 3 years of staff and team management experience and client relationship management.
  • Preparation and analysis of complex management accounting reports.
  • Experience in Tax advisory/research skills.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Experience with APS, XPM, and SharePoint.
