We are seeking an experienced and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Canberra. As a Home-Based Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients, promoting independence and restoring functional ability.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to work from home with flexible hours. You will be responsible for assessing occupational therapy needs and developing individualized programs for aged care clients living in the community.
You will work closely with our team to provide comprehensive services, aiming to promote independence and restore functional ability to enable clients to remain living at home. Your expertise will empower older adults to live independently, and your passion for delivering exceptional care will make a significant difference in their lives.
Key Responsibilities- Assess occupational therapy needs and develop individualized programs for aged care clients living in the community
- Work closely with our team to provide comprehensive services, including assessments, goal setting, and intervention planning
- Develop and implement occupational therapy programs that promote independence and restore functional ability
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary package, including:
- A base salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency
- Postgraduate experience working with a variety of aged care services, including community settings
- Demonstrated ability to assess occupational therapy needs and develop individualized programs for aged care clients living in the community
- Knowledge of wellness, re-ablement, and restorative care approaches
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team, and independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated computer literacy and willingness to utilize required software to support a working from home position
- Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain
- Valid unrestricted driver's license and a reliable registered vehicle with minimum Third-Party Insurance
