Pre-Delivery Technician Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to start your mining career in a pre-delivery team for a global OEM. The role offers a wide range of training and upskilling, allowing you to work with industry experts and gain hands-on experience.

The Opportunity

You will secure a stable position with a leading underground mining OEM based in central Adelaide. Your duties will include performing pre-delivery work on new machines, readying them for customer delivery. You will work alongside a team of 8 and OEM experts on the latest equipment, taking on tasks that will enable you to grow and progress in your career.

Key Responsibilities

As a Pre-Delivery Technician, you will report directly to the Leading Hand and collaborate with a workshop team of 8 technicians. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing new machines for site delivery, ensuring they are ready for commissioning
  • Installing equipment, machinery additions, and component changes
  • Working on-site commissioning on an ad-hoc basis (not regularly)
  • Participating in the rebuild team from time to time
Requirements

  • A mechanical trade qualification
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to connect with a team and work autonomously
  • Desire to work in a varied role with tasks ranging from basic to intermediate
