Key Role: Maintenance Specialist

This pivotal position focuses on ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of machinery. As a skilled professional, you will be responsible for identifying areas that require preventative maintenance and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate will possess a mechanical aptitude, with experience in fault diagnosis and repair. Additionally, proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic systems is highly desirable.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement routine maintenance schedules to guarantee equipment reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical issues and improve overall operational efficiency
  • Perform thorough diagnostic assessments to determine root causes of machinery failures
  • Provide expert guidance and training to colleagues on best practices for machine operation and troubleshooting
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Essential Qualifications:
  • Diploma or certificate in a relevant trade (e.g., mechanical fitting)
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of maintaining high-quality standards
  • Sound understanding of electrical systems and principles of HACCP/GMP
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information
  • Familiarity with automation systems and technologies is an advantage
Work Environment:

This role involves working in a fast-paced production environment, with occasional evening shifts and weekends required. The successful candidate must be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.
