About us
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated academic to join our team as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Medicine. This role contributes to the teaching, assessment, and academic support of medical students in Years 3, 4, and 5 of the MD program.
Key responsibilities include:
- Curriculum development
- Teaching and Learning
- Research and Innovation
- Service and Engagement
The ideal candidate will have:
- A doctoral qualification/PhD (or near completion) or equivalent accreditation and standing in Medicine.
- Current registration as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Proven experience in teaching, assessment, and/or curriculum development at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Evidence of leadership through peer mentoring or clinical leadership roles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
To be considered for appointment at Level C (Senior Lecturer), you will also have:
- Unconditional registration as a Specialist Medical Practitioner with AHPRA.
- Active Fellowship with a recognised Australian Specialty College.
- Demonstrated leadership in learning and teaching, including course coordination, curriculum development, and mentoring at undergraduate, honours and postgraduate levels.
