About This Role

We are seeking an experienced academic to contribute to the teaching, assessment, and support of medical students at the Joint Medical Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach and assess medical students enrolled in Years 3, 4, and 5 of the MD program.
  • Play a key role in curriculum development and demonstrate excellence across Teaching and Learning, Research and Innovation, and Service and Engagement.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • A doctoral qualification or equivalent accreditation and standing in Medicine.
  • Current registration as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with no restrictions, notations or conditions.
  • Proven experience in teaching, assessment, and/or curriculum development at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Evidence of leadership through peer mentoring or clinical leadership roles.
  • A commitment to collaborative engagement with clinicians and health services to improve healthcare outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • A collaborative and adaptable approach to supporting all aspects of the Joint Medical Program.
