To support our growing Allied Health team, we have an opportunity for a Health Services Assistant.
You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver Allied Health services to aged care customers in their homes or at our venue.
The role is available as a permanent full-time position or permanent part-time position with flexibility on days worked.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver therapeutic programs individually or in groups
- Assist in preparing for group programs and supervising customers
- Provide support to the Allied Health team including compiling clinical materials and collecting equipment
- Assist in preparing assessments, treatments, and clinical processes for customers
- Work collaboratively with customers in their homes as they progress towards their goals
- Work independently and safely within your scope while being confident to refer customers back to the treating therapist when necessary
Required Skills and Qualifications
A Certificate III or IV in Health Assistance, experience in delivering massage therapy services, preferably to frail/aged customers, supported by a massage therapy qualification.
Additionally required is the ability to work in various community settings, effective communication skills, and demonstrated ability to work independently.
High level computer literacy, valid Driver's Licence, and First Aid certificates are also essential.
