About the Role

Rimfire Energy is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Retail Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales and operations team, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring seamless operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Customer Service

  • Meet and exceed sales targets through effective customer engagement and product knowledge
  • Manage sales channels (e.g., retail stores, contact center, online platforms)
  • Build strong relationships with customers to resolve queries and promote loyalty
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities

Operations and Administration

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Manage and maintain accurate customer data and sales records
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., customer service, marketing, finance) to resolve customer issues
  • Analyze sales trends and provide insights to inform business decisions

Process Improvement

  • Identify areas for process improvement and propose solutions
  • Implement operational changes to enhance efficiency and customer experience
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives

Additional Responsibilities

  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and competitor activity
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Perform other duties as required
Requirements

Essential

  • Experience in sales and operations, preferably in the electricity retail sector
  • Proven sales and customer service track record
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Basic computer literacy (e.g., Microsoft Office, CRM software)

Desirable

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Knowledge of electricity retail industry and regulatory framework
  • Experience with sales analytics and reporting tools
