Job Title: Laundry Support Specialist

Feros Care Residential Villages in Bangalow and Wommin Bay (Kingscliff) are seeking skilled individuals to join their team as Laundry Support Specialists. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large-scale cleaning equipment and products, as well as prior knowledge of health and safety standards.

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the residential laundry is maintained to the highest standards, including washing, drying, sorting, folding and distributing all linens and resident clothes. Additionally, they will be required to clean areas within the Residential Aged Care Facility, such as resident rooms, public areas, toilet and dining rooms.

As a member of the care team, this individual will contribute to providing high-quality services that meet the needs of residents, while also fostering a safe and vibrant environment.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Resident and village laundry services including washing, drying, sorting, folding and distributing all linens and resident clothes;
  • Maintaining records of completion of cleaning scheduled tasks;
  • Cleaning areas within the Residential Aged Care Facility including resident rooms, public areas, toilet and dining rooms;

This role is perfect for someone who has experience working in a healthcare or aged care setting, and who is passionate about delivering exceptional service to others.

Key qualifications and skills for this position include:

  • Experience working in a large-scale health or industrial organisation;
  • Prior experience operating a range of cleaning equipment and products;
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of hygiene requirements and safe working practices;
