Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit laundry attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining laundry equipment, receiving, sorting and loading laundry according to internal procedures, folding and arranging laundry for collection, feeding laundry into ironing machines and performing general tasks to ensure the laundry is clean, tidy and operational.

This is a fast-paced environment requiring quick thinking and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain laundry equipment safely and hygienically
  • Receive, sort and load laundry according to internal procedures
  • Fold and arrange laundry for collection
  • Feed laundry into ironing machine
  • Perform general tasks to ensure the laundry is clean, tidy and operational

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Own reliable transport
  • Positive mental attitude and demeanour
  • Proven reliability, punctuality and work ethic
  • Physical fitness, stamina and ability to stand for long periods

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work an 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday in a day shift. Reliable commute or relocation to Strathfield, NSW is required.
