Job Role

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing expert service and repair for customers throughout QLD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform mobile and in-house servicing for a range of equipment ensuring seamless operations.
  • Travel throughout QLD providing expert service and repair for customers.
  • Manage customer orders quotes and repairs using SAP CRM streamlining processes.
  • Repair and service various equipment including SCBA Airline & Escape Equipment Compressed Air Cylinders PAPR Equipment and Passive RPE.
  • Maintain spare part stock levels at the Morningside facility collaborating with the Service Coordinator.
  • Engage with customers at the Morningside facility managing non-accredited service details.
  • Ensure all equipment requiring calibration is on schedule maintaining accurate records.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Higher School Certificate or equivalent.
  • Air-Supplied equipment knowledge preferred.
  • Experience working with hand tools preferred.
  • High computer literacy including SAP CRM Microsoft Word Excel analysis & PowerPoint required.
  • Strong verbal communication listening and presentation skills.
  • Confident manner with internal teams and external customers ability to work well within a team environment.
  • High level of functional and technical skills ability to understand and translate technical literature.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and resourceful innovation to meet customer requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail organizational and planning abilities.
