Job Title:

Therapy Consultant

Overview

As a skilled therapy consultant, you will work with individuals to identify their functional abilities, limitations, and goals.

You will develop individualised treatment plans and intervention strategies to maximise independence, functional capacity, and quality of life.

Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Assess client needs and develop tailored care plans.
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to enhance daily living skills, cognitive abilities, mobility, and self-care.
  • Provide education and support to clients, caregivers, and support workers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in occupational therapy.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • A Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Valid Australian driver's licence.
Current or willing to obtain
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Working with Children Check.
