Learn to Swim Instructor Job Description

This role involves teaching an award-winning learn to swim program and providing excellent customer services to students and their families.

The successful candidate will have the ability to time manage class programming, meet program outcomes, and promote swimming and water safety through our program.

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals who share a passion for swimming and water safety to join our Aqua Learn to Swim team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality learn to swim classes
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Manage class programming and meet program outcomes
  • Promote swimming and water safety
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Able to complete internal training program or be accredited through Austswim, Swim Australia, and/or Royal Life Saving Society learn to swim teacher training program(s)
  • Hold current CPR Certificate
  • Excellent oral communication and customer service skills
  • Current Working with Children Check

Our salary is in accordance with our Enterprise Agreement. Entry level for this role starts at hourly rate plus 25% casual loading. Penalty rates apply for weekend shifts.
