Workshop Team Lead

About the Role
This position involves leading and directing a workshop team in a fast-paced environment. You will guide your team through clear communication, understanding productivity drivers to allocate tasks effectively and ensure work is completed daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and oversee technical issue repairs, providing support to technicians to build their knowledge base.
- Ensure all work is completed within manufacturer guidelines and Inchcape Automotive Retail standards.
- Road test vehicles to ensure quality and safety checks are completed.
- Complete quality and timely work as per Repair Order instructions, identifying additional work where required and liaising with Service Advisors to provide customer feedback.
About You
- Proven leadership capability with experience leading teams.
- Ability to work in a busy service centre environment.
- Good eye for detail and understanding of workshop operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Current Motor Mechanic Trade Certificate.
- Valid, current driver's licence.
