Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Blast Furnace Modelling

The School of Chemical Engineering at UNSW is seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Fellow to join their research team. This role offers the chance to enhance your research skills by working on specific projects related to blast furnace modelling.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct high-quality academic research and conduct independent research with limited supervision.
- Undertake high-temperature experiment of iron ore reduction, biocoke kinetics and slag chemistry.
- Develop and maintain a strong research profile through publications and conference presentations.
- Collaborate with the research team to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Supervise HDR students and contribute to the development of the School's research culture.

Requirements- PhD in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related area.

- Demonstrated ability to work in a team, collaborate across disciplines and build effective relationships.
- Evidence of highly developed interpersonal skills.
- An understanding of and commitment to UNSW's aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.
