About The Opportunity

This position involves providing expert guidance and support to clinicians working in emergency departments, ensuring that they are equipped to provide timely and effective care to patients in crisis. You will also play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.

  • Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and mentoring to ensure high-quality care is delivered.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements:

  • Current Authority to Practice as an RN with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA).
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in acute mental health nursing and postgraduate qualifications in Mental Health.
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Clinical expertise and proven ability to lead clinical practice development.
