Job Title: Group Finance Manager

Are you a seasoned finance professional looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a highly skilled Group Finance Manager to lead our statutory financial reporting and play a key role in driving financial strategy at Data#3 Ltd.

About the Role

As a Group Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of statutory financial statements, ensuring timely compliance with ASX requirements, and managing the external audit process. You will also prepare and review monthly financial results, monitor performance, and provide insights to senior management on variances to budget.

You will educate stakeholders on financial reports and foster financial awareness across the business. Additionally, you will lead the development and maintenance of accounting policies, ensuring compliance with new accounting standards, and support sustainability initiatives by preparing Climate Related Financial Reporting Disclosures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of statutory financial statements and ensure timely compliance with ASX requirements.
  • Manage the external audit process, liaising with auditors and preparing detailed work papers.
  • Prepare and review monthly financial results, monitor performance, and provide insights to senior management on variances to budget.
  • Educate stakeholders on financial reports and foster financial awareness across the business.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of accounting policies, ensuring compliance with new accounting standards.
  • Support sustainability initiatives by preparing Climate Related Financial Reporting Disclosures.
About You

We are looking for a highly analytical and experienced finance professional with a strong focus on statutory financial reporting and auditing. You will have at least 10 years of experience in Accounting and Finance, with a deep understanding of accounting standards, tax law, and compliance in publicly listed entities.

You will possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships at all levels. You will also have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to influence and negotiate.

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of experience in Accounting and Finance, with a strong focus on statutory financial reporting and auditing.
  • Deep understanding of accounting standards, tax law, and compliance in publicly listed entities.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships at all levels.
  • Highly analytical, with advanced financial acumen and experience using Business Intelligence tools like TM1 Cognos or Power BI.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to influence and negotiate.
