The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Fellow to contribute to our interdisciplinary research team in the Department of Design. As part of an ARC Discovery Grant, you will collaborate with us to co-design and conduct research, developing written and creative outputs.

Your expertise in design for social impact, policy design, and design ethnographic research methodologies will be invaluable to our team. You will also have the opportunity to develop your own practice-led expertise and contribute to the development of our research outputs.

To be successful in this role, you will hold a doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline area and have a solid track record of refereed research publications and design outputs. You will also have practice experience in designing for social impact, policy design, and/or design ethnography, as well as skills in ethnographic filmmaking and creative visual communication.
