This part-time, 12-month contract position is set to commence in ASAP and will be based at our Tullamarine and Broadmeadows depots. With flexibility in the hours and days that you work, you might be a HR Advisor looking to make your career move into a HRBP role, or a HRBP with a few years' experience.

You will work closely with various stakeholders, including Senior Stakeholders and other teams, using your exceptional communication skills to tactfully navigate different and sometimes challenging scenarios.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with recruitment, interpreting, providing guidance and advice on policy and Enterprise agreements
  • Supporting and coaching with performance conversations, legislation, and regulatory requirements
  • Working closely with operations to determine appropriate resource requirements for the contract, to deliver the program of works
  • Supporting the team to develop and deliver key engagement initiatives highlighted in the 2023 people survey
  • Coordinating and implementing HR projects and initiatives within business areas to drive improvement and growth

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar industry working with a blue-collar workforce
  • Expertise in interpretation of Australian employment legislation, policies, performance management
  • Proficiency in HR systems (Success Factors, Livehire, PowerBI), and Microsoft Office Suite for accurate HR reporting

A diploma or tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields is required.
