This role is part of our Resources and Industrials division based in Pinkenba working alongside a major gas provider. As Operations Supervisor, you will lead a high-performing team to create a positive and safety-obsessed culture.

You will ensure tasks are completed efficiently, meeting operational standards while prioritizing safety requirements. This includes managing drivers, staff, and equipment to achieve business objectives in a safe and cost-effective manner.

Duties include:

  • Organising vehicles and drivers to meet customer load requirements
  • Monitoring drivers to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Ensuring all equipment and ancillary equipment is in operating condition
  • Complying with CoR, Fatigue Management, Mass Management, Load Restraint, and NHVR regulations
  • Monitoring transport workers' training records

Requirements:

  • Previous supervisory experience in transport/logistics
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • An analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and computer literacy skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of HSE principles
