Compassionate Care Provider Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Compassionate Care Provider in Mordialloc, Victoria. This permanent part-time role involves providing high-quality care and support to elderly residents in a residential aged care setting.

This rewarding opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact on the lives of others. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with registered nurses to develop and implement personalized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each resident.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing direct care and support to residents in accordance with best practice standards.
  • Establishing strong relationships with residents and their families, while maintaining effective communication with all levels of staff.
  • Documenting Resident Care Plans with attention to detail, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Reporting incidents and changes in resident behavior to registered nurses in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or Certificate IV in Aged Care, with minimum 6 months' experience working in residential aged care, home care, or disability services.
  • Dementia-specific experience an advantage, along with flexibility and reliability to work required shifts.
  • Able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues, possessing excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Current flu & COVID vaccination certificates essential.
