Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Allied Health Professional to play a key role in helping maintain the functional independence of our clients.

Working closely with our Senior Physiotherapist, your responsibilities will include providing efficient and effective exercise therapy to improve client's physical, cognitive, and psycho-social functions.

You will enhance resident wellness through exercise and activities focused on restorative and rehabilitative programs, and ensure residents have access to assistive devices as assessed by the physiotherapist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exercise and therapy programs both 1:1 and in small groups according to the Physiotherapist's care plan.
  • Assist with client assessments and re-assessments of their physical capabilities.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or working towards a Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy degree.
  • Computer & phone technology literacy, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Vaccinations up-to-date or willing and able to obtain.
  • Right to Work in Australia and current 'Provide First Aid' Certificate and CPR.
