Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to our clients and their families, working collaboratively with the client's care team to assess, set goals, develop solutions, provide interventions, and evaluate client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy services to clients and their families, including assessment, goal setting, and intervention planning
- Work collaboratively with the client's care team to develop and implement individualized plans
- Conduct regular progress assessments and evaluations to ensure client outcomes are met
- Identify and lead clinical and business-related continuous improvement activities
- Provide mentorship and supervision to therapy staff, including training and development opportunities
- Contribute to the development of therapy services, including updating service provision and ensuring evidence-informed practice
- Minimum of 5 years experience in occupational therapy, with a focus on complex clients and situations
- Ability to work within a team and autonomously
- Specific skills required in assessment, occupational analysis, goal setting, developing intervention plans, and evaluating client outcomes
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate an assigned caseload and company commitments
- Demonstrated effective and professional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and provide patient-centered practice
- Demonstrated ability to be punctual, reliable, and committed
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, OT drawing programs, and client management software
- Demonstrated ability to follow direction and take initiative
- Knowledge of the NDIS is desirable
