Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Food Safety Manager to join our operations team at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the stadium's food safety management system, conducting internal audits and risk assessments, and providing comprehensive reports.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food management practices and hospitality operations, with minimum 5 years' experience working with a commercial food production/catering company.
This is a full-time position, requiring flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including evenings and weekends, depending on the MCG's events schedule.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Expert knowledge of food safety legislation, HACCP, and quality standards
- Minimum 5 years' experience working with a commercial food production/catering company
- Experience in conducting and managing audits and reviews
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
