Event Staff Job Description

The Kehoe Forum is the official home of women's hockey, with a main focus on promoting female participation in sports. The venue hosts multiple events throughout the year, including hockey games, conferences, and community gatherings.

The Event Staff plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of these events. Their duties include setting up and taking down equipment, managing crowd control, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setup and tear down event equipment, including tables, chairs, staging, and curtains.
  • Assist with venue preparation, including floor coverings and layout adjustments.
  • Manage event logistics, including directing guests and providing customer support.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization before, during, and after events.
  • Assist with security and crowd control as needed.
  • Collaborate with event organizers and facility staff to ensure seamless operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving equipment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Customer service experience is an asset.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adapt to different event needs.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends based on event schedules.
