As an Economist graduate, you will contribute to crafting policies that drive positive change in the Australian economy. You'll work across diverse areas, including fiscal and monetary policies, budgetary policies, domestic and international economic situations, and forecasting changes in the economic environment.
The graduate program offers targeted training to enhance your skills, knowledge, and confidence as a valued member of the team, empowering you to make a meaningful impact.
We are seeking graduates who have studied Economics and Econometrics, but also welcome those with related degrees who have majored or minored in Economics.

EligibilityTo be eligible, you must:
- Be an Australian citizen.
- Have or will have completed a Bachelor degree or higher by 31 December 2026.
- Have completed your qualification between 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2026.
- Be able to obtain and maintain a valid Australian Government security clearance once accepted into the program.
- Be willing to undergo police, character, health, or other required checks.
The selection process includes an online application, online testing, video interview, assessment centre, matching, and offers, ensuring a fair and thorough evaluation of candidates.
