This is an exciting chance to join their service team as a Field Service Technician. As part of this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for packaging equipment at customer sites.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Traveling to customer sites to deliver technical support and maintenance services.
  • Performing preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues with packaging machinery.
  • Repairing and replacing defective parts as needed.
  • Installing new equipment and training customers on its operation and maintenance.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency with full working rights.
  • Trade qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical, with preference given to Electrical.
  • A NSW electrical license, disconnect/reconnect license, or Cert III in Electronics.
  • Prior experience in field service, maintenance, or installation of packaging machinery.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently to customer sites.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
