Job Title: Employment Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to support our clients in achieving their employment goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • SUPPORT CLIENTS IN ACHIEVING SUSTAINABLE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES BY UTILISING SKILLS TO GUIDE THEM THROUGH THEIR EMPLOYMENT JOURNEY AND OVERCOME BARRIERS TO EMPLOYMENT.
  • BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY STAKEHOLDERS TO MANAGE THE REFERRAL & INTAKE PROCESS OF JOB SEEKERS INTO CHOSEN PROGRAMMES.
  • IDENTIFY JOB SEEKER SKILLS, ABILITIES AND BARRIERS AND DEVELOP INTERVENTION STRATEGIES.
  • DEVELOP WORK PREPARATION STRATEGIES, JOB SEEKING STRATEGIES, TAILORED INTERVENTIONS AND EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT ACTIVITIES IN CONSULTATION WITH JOB SEEKERS.
  • PROVIDE REVERSE MARKETING SERVICES TO ACHIEVE SUSTAINABLE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES.
  • PROVIDE VOCATIONAL COUNSELLING, TRAINING, JOB SEARCH SKILLS AND WORK TRIALS/WORK EXPERIENCE TO INCREASE CAPACITY FOR EMPLOYMENT.
Requirements:
  • You must be self-driven, resilient and have experience in Customer Service.
  • Strong Communication skills, attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to use computer systems, excellent data accuracy and note taking.
  • Build rapport, grow and maintain relationships with clients, peers and job seekers.
  • You must hold a current NDIS Worker Screening check or be willing to obtain one.
