Loss Prevention Manager

The Loss Prevention Manager is a key leadership position within the Amazon Loss Prevention Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to challenge conventional views of loss prevention in a dynamic and unconventional space.
Key Responsibilities- Engage, coach, and train business partners to identify leading indicators of loss prevention risk and educate them on the appropriate escalation path.
- Partner with internal customers to evaluate current and future security services, processes, and initiatives.
- Assist with investigations of internal and external theft and fraud, and conduct interviews when appropriate.
- Use data analysis and collaboration with internal partners to identify inventory defects and create strategic plans to mitigate losses.
- Enhance, track, and report on key performance indicators to drive performance improvements.
- Develop business cases using data collection and analysis to drive strategic and tactical interpretations.
- Ensure team members understand Amazon's vision and values, and align performance with internal and external partners.
- Recruit, hire, develop, and retain candidates who raise the performance bar of the security services organization.
- Implement incident response planning, execution, and management.
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of experience in law enforcement, loss prevention, risk management, supply chain management, or other related field
- 2+ years of data collection experience with root cause analysis
- 2+ years of people management experience
- Previous experience assisting with investigations
- 1+ year of experience with MS Office Professional Suite, including intermediate knowledge of Excel
- Experience with databases, querying, and analyzing
- Experience with security equipment and systems
- Experience with business types such as logistics, warehouse, distribution center, and multi-site loss management
- Interviewing and interrogation experience
- Workplace Violence and/or Business Continuity experience
