Transformative Product Design Opportunity

As a seasoned senior designer, you have the unique chance to shape the future of our homeware category by identifying, interpreting, and implementing global trends that drive sales and bring meaningful moments into customers' lives.

This pivotal role requires you to develop innovative designs that align with our brand image and target market, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with our vision.

You will be responsible for conducting market research and trend analysis to inform design decisions and stay ahead of industry trends. Your expertise in forecasting and implementing on-trend product ranges will be crucial in driving commercial success.

To excel in this position, you will need to possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high level of proficiency in software such as Illustrator, Solid Works, and Photoshop. You should also have experience in product development, factory capabilities, and limitations for mass production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement global homeware trends to grow sales.
  • Conduct market research and trend analysis to inform design decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with brand vision.
  • Lead product development and implementation of new product opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in hardgoods design (8+ years).
  • Strong ability to forecast and implement on-trend product ranges.
  • Good understanding of commercial range architecture.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • High proficiency in relevant software.
  • Able to create accurate technical specification drawings.
  • Solid knowledge of factory capabilities and limitations for mass production.
