Principal Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Quality Control professional to join our Maritime business at Osborne, SA. As a key member of our team, you will ensure that all work performed meets the highest standards and specifications throughout the prototyping and ship construction phases.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the provision of assurance that robust and effective Quality Control processes are established and operating effectively within the business area.
- Review and monitor quality records to ensure acceptance by the customer.
- Coordinate the completion of Preliminary Material Review and contribute towards the Material Review Board (MRB).
- Provide quality support and guidance to other departments while fostering a culture of open communication and teamwork.
- A thorough understanding of Applicable Codes and Standards utilized in the Fabrication/Welding of Steel Structures and Pressure Equipment.
- Certified Welding Inspector (IWI-B, CSWIP 3.1, or AWS) is essential.
- Proven experience in working to a Quality Management System with good understanding of quality practices and code of conduct.
