We provide a supportive environment that enables residents to remain independent. Our Personal Care Workers play a key role in achieving this at our Caravonica Care Home.

You will work closely with the clinical, lifestyle, and hospitality teams, delivering resident-centric care in a timely and compassionate manner.

This enables residents to make choices and have control over their support needs.

About You

We value attitude and aptitude over experience. You must have a resident-centric approach, be able to think on your feet, communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships.

  • Demonstrate 1 year of experience in the Australian Aged Care Sector.
  • Maintain an excellent work ethic, ability to work in a team, and follow set safety procedures at all times.
  • Ensure resident safety by being aware of potential hazards and taking proactive measures.
  • Think on your feet to prioritize resident needs and make a positive impact on their lives daily.
  • Possess a passion for making a difference in the elderly's lives by building positive relationships with their families.
  • Exhibit a positive teamwork attitude, punctuality, willingness to help, and being a fun team colleague.
  • Hold a certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or have completed 1st year nursing studies.
  • Obtain NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or be willing to do so.

This is a physically demanding role that requires frequent movement, bending, lifting, pushing, and squatting to perform duties safely.
