About the Role: Healthscope is looking for a dedicated Exercise Physiologist who possesses a keen attention to detail to become part of our energetic Allied Health Team. This role involves working on Mondays and Wednesdays from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM in our Outpatient Rehabilitation Program. You will engage in both independent and team-based activities, facilitating group sessions that cover various areas including Cardiac, Pulmonary, Orthopaedic, Reconditioning, and Falls/Balance rehabilitation.
About Healthscope: Healthscope operates a comprehensive private hospital with a capacity of 147 beds, providing a wide range of specialized services. Our facility includes an emergency department, advanced coronary care, cardiothoracic, orthopaedic, and general surgical services, all supported by a 6-bed intensive care unit, a 9-bed acute coronary care unit, and 7 operating theatres.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist in Australia through Exercise and Sports Science Australia.
- Ability to adapt to varying caseloads.
- Experience in delivering educational sessions to patients.
- Previous experience in conducting group sessions.
- Willingness to learn and integrate into a service that values commitment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability on Mondays and Wednesdays from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail in documentation.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A proactive and positive attitude as a team member.
