Senior Civil Engineer and Project Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee the delivery of civil engineering projects. Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex construction projects, with a proven track record of success.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading project teams, planning and scheduling construction activities, and ensuring quality assurance, cost control, and timely completion of projects. They will also be responsible for preparing management reports, resolving site issues, and liaising with clients and stakeholders.
In this role, you will work on tenders, manage site project teams, and coordinate internal and external resources. You will also be responsible for recruitment and mentoring of teams. Qualifications and Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar field
- 5-15 years' experience in managing civil construction projects with a project value of $5m to $20m+
- Project management qualifications are an advantage
- Proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach
- Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate
- Effective problem-solving abilities
- Ability to resolve conflict and manage client expectations
- High level of organisation and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
