This role involves high-level strategic leadership, direction regarding medical imaging services, including clinical governance, professional matters, network development and service integration.
- The incumbent will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the medical imaging service, maintaining appropriate standards and using resources effectively.
- A tertiary degree qualification in a relevant occupation and registration with the relevant agency are required.
- Candidates must provide certified copies of proof of identity documents for general Criminal history and National Police Certificate checks.
- A declaration of current, criminal or significant previous disciplinary proceedings or restrictions on clinical practice is necessary.
- The Director will be accountable for the overall operation and administration of the service, ensuring quality and safety of services provided.
- Demonstrated experience and capacity in medical imaging education programs and research relating to evidence-based practice in medical imaging medicine is essential.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, consultation and interpersonal skills are required.
