About Umwelt

We are seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to play a pivotal role in supporting clients by delivering comprehensive environmental impact assessments, environmental planning, approvals, and environmental management projects.
  • Project Management: Scope, plan, manage, and execute environmental assessment, environmental planning, and environmental management projects to ensure integrated outcomes and high-quality delivery.
  • Technical Delivery: Maintain a focus on delivering high-quality project outcomes that meet the needs of clients.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships, developing high-quality proposals to secure new business.
Requirements:
  • A degree in environmental science or related discipline is essential.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in environmental impact assessment or environmental planning, preferably in Western Australia.
  • In-depth knowledge of environmental and planning legislation, regulations, standards, and best practices is required.
  • Experience managing medium to large projects through development, including timelines, budgets, and resourcing, is necessary.
  • Renewable energy, resources, and/or electricity transmission experience is desirable.
  • Ability to adapt to various technical work requirements.
  • Aptitude for working across multiple disciplines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive team and client relationships.
