The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our Remote Power Division, responsible for delivering large power station projects across Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role in a dynamic and growing organization.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be accountable for the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they meet safety, governance, and quality standards. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing project execution plans and implementing them throughout the project lifecycle
  • Leading the development of project reporting plans and reports, aligning with Pacific Energy's governance requirements
  • Managing project contracts and procurement processes
  • Coordinating resource scheduling and work activities to optimize project efficiency
  • Ensuring design, engineering, commissioning, integration, and operational readiness requirements are met
  • Managing document control processes

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, such as engineering, science, planning, or project management, or demonstrated equivalent experience and skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels
  • Strong knowledge of project delivery requirements and methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage critical paths, and ensure workflow is maintained
  • Understanding of contracts and contracting methodologies

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package, estimated to be around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including flexible work arrangements, additional leave days, and access to professional development opportunities.
