Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking an Employment Relations Consultant to join our team. As an Employee Relations Adviser, you will play a pivotal role in coaching people managers on employee-related matters.
You will provide guidance and support to staff on queries that cannot be answered by the People Advisory team or HR Shared Services. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with Employee Relations Senior Managers and Managers on complex ER cases and change projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing advice to people managers on how to reach fair and informal resolutions to potential conflict situations.
- Coaching people managers on how to handle employee relations cases.
- Working on complex ER cases and change projects with Employee Relations Senior Managers and Managers.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, preferably in an operational HR environment. You should be skilled in providing technical expertise in disciplinary matters, grievances, appeals, absence management, and restructure and change programmes.
You should also have knowledge of employment law and best practice, as well as previous experience using case management systems.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position is approximately $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
Our company offers generous remuneration, flexible working conditions, and opportunities for internal promotion and reward and recognition.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in an operational HR environment.
- Technical expertise in disciplinary matters, grievances, appeals, absence management, and restructure and change programmes.
- Knowledge of employment law and best practice.
- Previous experience using case management systems.
