Job Overview

The role of an Expert Financial Governance Professional involves ensuring the financial integrity and governance of operations. Key responsibilities include preparing accurate financial accounts, consolidating multiple entities, managing audits, and reporting to stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial reports according to accounting standards, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Entity Consolidation: Lead the consolidation of multiple domestic and international entities, including foreign currency translation and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Audit & Assurance: Manage end-to-end external audit processes, prepare supporting workpapers, and ensure deliverables are complete and accurate.
  • Stakeholder Reporting: Support quarterly, half-yearly, and annual reporting cycles for parent company stakeholders, ensuring submissions are accurate and timely.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Contribute to planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and providing insights for decision-making at senior leadership level.
  • Governance & Internal Controls: Maintain and update accounting policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks, ensuring compliance with delegations of authority and corporate governance requirements.
Requirements
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce is required.
  • 4–6 years' experience in statutory reporting and entity consolidation is necessary.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and corporate act requirements is essential.
  • Experience working with external auditors and preparing technical papers is required.
  • Proficiency with enterprise resource planning systems (ERP) and advanced Excel skills is necessary.
