We're on a mission to make a better world of work, and we need your expertise to help us achieve it. As a Staff Machine Learning Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in accelerating our capability in building and enhancing machine learning platforms powered by AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).

About the Role

You'll work closely with our data scientists and engineers to provide a central LLM gateway that enables product teams across Culture Amp to leverage the power of Gen AI to build impactful features. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in code reviews, architecture discussions, and contributing to best practices in ML engineering
  • Collaborating and guiding other engineers in your team through pair/mob programming, writing solution designs, or giving feedback on pull requests
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI technologies and integrating them into our products
  • Coaching and uplifting other engineers in the team
  • Playing a tech lead role for the team and working with leadership to define long-term technical vision

We're seeking a passionate and experienced machine learning engineer who is passionate about AI, particularly Generative AI, and LLMs. You'll be an advocate of sensible, ethical, and responsible use of AI and have the ability to influence others without authority. You'll also be a proactive and clear communicator who values empathy and kindness.
