**Job Title:** Employment Support Officer

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as an Employment Support Officer.

As an Employment Support Officer, you will work closely with participants to identify and achieve their employment goals. You will assist them in developing the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the workforce.

This is a unique role that requires a holistic approach to supporting individuals with disabilities. You will work with participants to develop a personalized plan that addresses their strengths, weaknesses, and goals.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Assisting participants in learning essential life skills
  • Working with participants to identify and achieve their employment goals
  • Providing support and guidance to participants in their job search and interview preparation
  • Liaising with Disability Employment Support (DES) providers to ensure a seamless service delivery

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with participants, their families, and other stakeholders.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Certificate III or above in a relevant industry such as Community Services & Individual Support
  • Proven ability to build individuals' capacity to learn new skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills
  • Driver's license
