Job Summary

The Polyglot Group is seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to join our team at Workforce Australia for Individuals. As a key member of our infrastructure delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the client's requirements and project scope.
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians to deliver construction projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and procurement teams, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks, and develop strategies to overcome obstacles.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualified Geotechnical Engineer with 12+ years of experience in geotechnical assessment of Underground Structures.
  • 8+ years engineering experience on large scale projects.
  • 5+ years experience of underground works.
  • Experience of working with international teams.
  • Knowledge of software such as Planisware, Rocscience, GEM4D, and Surpac.
  • Current DGSC.
  • Fluency in English, good knowledge of French and/or Italian will be a plus.
