Electrical Network Specialist Role

We are seeking an Electrical Network Specialist with expertise in distribution network design to join our team. You will be responsible for undertaking challenging engineering design solutions for key clients, including Western Power and Horizon Power.

As a critical interface with local utilities, you will deliver high-quality design services in a safe, reliable, and commercially responsible manner. You will also provide leadership to engineers and designers, help expand into renewables and mining, and develop scopes of work through engagement with customers, local authorities, landowners, and power utilities.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience with electricity distribution networks, particularly with Western Power and Horizon Power. They will also possess a BEng/BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, National Registered Engineer (NER) or Chartered Engineer (preferred but essential), and proficiency in GIS, design, and drafting software.

  • Design and implementation of electrical networks and systems.
  • Project management and delivery of electrical infrastructure projects.
  • Development of technical proposals and reports.
