Project Engineer Job Overview

Our team is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our collaborative and innovative environment. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and supporting projects related to water, wastewater, and/or water resource management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and lead projects in the field of water, wastewater, and/or water resource management.
  • Prepare design calculations, cost estimates, technical reports, and engineering plans and specifications with precision and creativity.
  • Accumulate and analyze data, presenting findings in professional reports, memos, and presentations for internal and client use.
  • Take initiative and work independently while collaborating effectively with project managers and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Lead portions of design work and ensure high-quality, accurate deliverables that meet regulatory and industry standards.
  • Assist with permitting applications and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
  • Previous experience executing technical studies, analyses, and/or designing and creating plans and specifications for water-focused projects.
  • Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and be accountable for results.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of tasks.
