Overview of the Role
The Claims Advisor position involves managing a portfolio of Personal Injury Commercial Claims to ensure injured workers receive their correct entitlements.
Key Responsibilities- Manage claims effectively while prioritizing the well-being of injured workers.
- Conduct thorough assessments by reviewing medical, financial, investigative, and rehabilitation reports.
- Employ strategies to resolve claims in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal support and external stakeholders to ensure case management.
- Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to legislation and maintaining efficiency in claim processing.
- Experience in Workers Compensation claims, portfolio claims management, or call centre operations; a background in psychology is highly desirable.
- Team player with a track record of providing excellent customer service.
- Effective communication skills with exceptional listening and communication abilities in a high-volume environment.
- Negotiation skills with the ability to interpret complex information and negotiate effectively with claimants.
- High level of resilience to manage complex matters.
