About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Food Services Assistant to join our team at Regis Aged Care Homes. As a Food Services Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing efficient and high-quality catering support services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up serving and dining areas ready for each meal period in line with Regis standards.
  • Assist with meal preparation and cooking.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of areas where food is prepared and served.
  • Monitor and record requirements of the Food Safety Plan.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical and care services team to create a positive dining experience for residents.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in providing catering assistance or hospitality is desirable but not essential.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Australian Food Standards and Food Safety.
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and accurately and to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work as a team member and adapt to various ways of supporting residents.
