Job Opportunity: Digital Transformation Leader

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated leader to join our statewide team in Tasmania, Australia.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, overseeing operational functions such as budgeting, procurement, and performance.
  • Implement our Digital Health Strategy, ensuring seamless integration of digital health tools into our care coordination processes.
  • Provide specialist digital health advice and resources to support program activities.
  • Coordinate key projects focused on strengthening primary care data to inform service planning and quality improvement, including emerging work in data linkage.
  • Manage platforms, contracts, and licenses that support the delivery of key roles and activities.
Key Requirements:
  • Leadership: Proven ability to inspire and effectively lead a team.
  • Collaboration: Ability to form strong partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Digital Health Skills: Knowledge and expertise around digital health systems and platforms, with the capability to understand how to best apply these to improve care coordination.
  • Data Literacy: Understanding of how workforce data and health data can inform improved health service planning and quality improvement, including emerging work in data linkage.
