About the Role

Auckland City Hospital, one of the largest public hospitals in New Zealand and a leading trauma centre in the Pacific Islands, is seeking a Simulation Special Skills Fellow to join our team.

As a Simulation Special Skills Fellow, you will be part of a fantastic team of clinicians with expertise in resuscitation, ultrasound, simulation, toxicology, and retrieval medicine.

Our Adult Emergency Department is accredited by the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine and affiliated with the University of Auckland, Schools of Medicine and Health Science.

We are actively involved in clinical and university-based teaching, including the ACME course, ACLS, Ultrasound, ED thoracotomy, and difficult airway courses.

Our team is responsible for running the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS), which has been successful in providing fully integrated care for trauma patients.

We are currently involved in several key national and international research projects and aligned with the Te Toka Tumai values.

As a Simulation Special Skills Fellow, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in clinical simulation and contribute to the development of our simulation program.
