About the Role

As a Senior Advisor Playbooks at Rio Tinto, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining and governing playbooks across the Iron Ore value chain. This is an exciting opportunity to drive system-centric mindsets, behaviours and practices to maximise system value.

You will be responsible for developing, governing and maintaining playbooks across the Rio Tinto Iron Ore supply chain, with a focus on driving systems thinking throughout the organisation. You will also contribute to the project management of the end-to-end playbook process through the four key phases: engage, develop, operationalise and sustain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, govern and maintain playbooks across the Rio Tinto Iron Ore supply chain
  • Contribute to the project management of the end-to-end playbook process
  • Build strong and trusted partnerships with key stakeholders across the supply chain
  • Coach and mentor other team members on systems thinking
  • Provide representation and backfill support for the Principal as required
  • Travel to site as required to support Playbook activities

About Our Team

Our Integrated Scheduling & Planning team is based at our state-of-the-art operations centre in Perth. We are looking for a Strategic Playbook Expert to join our team and help us drive system-centric mindsets, behaviours and practices to maximise system value.

About You

We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of systems thinking and experience in the Iron Ore supply chain. You should have technical knowledge of Lean Thinking and Theory of Constraints, as well as project management experience. A C Class manual licence is also required.
